Ingredients
Chicken:
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced or pounded thin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
Alfredo Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- Salt & pepper to taste
Pasta:
- 300g (10 oz) linguine
- Salt for boiling water
Optional:
- Parsley
- Extra parmesan
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the linguine
- Boil linguine in salted water until al dente.
- Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the chicken
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika.
- Heat olive oil + 2 tbsp butter in a skillet.
- Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Alfredo sauce
- In the same pan, melt 3 tbsp butter.
- Add garlic; cook 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream + chicken broth.
- Simmer 2 minutes.
- Add parmesan; stir until melted and smooth.
- Add salt & pepper to taste.
- If too thick, add a splash of pasta water.
4. Combine
- Add linguine into the Alfredo sauce.
- Toss until creamy and coated.
- Slice the chicken and place on top.
- Spoon extra sauce over the chicken.
5. Serve
