Paprika Pepper & Tomato Stew
Ingredients
- 3–4 tbsp oil or lard (lard is most authentic)
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 4–5 Hungarian wax peppers (or banana peppers), sliced
- 2–3 bell peppers, sliced (mix colors)
- 3 large tomatoes, chopped (or 1 can diced tomatoes)
- 1–2 tbsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Optional:
- 1 smoked sausage (kolbász), sliced
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 hot pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
