
Instructions
- Prepare the cucumbers
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers.
- If they’re watery, sprinkle a little salt over them and let sit for 10 minutes, then pat dry with paper towels.
- Make the dressing
- In a large bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar (or lemon juice), dill, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and sugar.
- Combine
- Add the cucumbers (and onions, if using) into the bowl.
- Toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
- Chill & Serve
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving — this helps the flavors blend beautifully.
