A true Hungarian comfort classic — creamy cottage cheese, silky sour cream, and crispy bacon tossed with tender pasta. Simple ingredients, big flavor!

📝 Ingredients
- 300 g (30 dkg) fodros kocka pasta (small square pasta)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 250 g (25 dkg) cottage cheese (Hungarian túró)
- 300 ml (3 dl) sour cream
- 200 g (20 dkg) sliced bacon
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the oil, then cook the pasta until al dente.
Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Bacon
Dice the bacon and fry in a pan until crispy.
Set aside, keeping a little of the rendered fat for flavor.
3️⃣ Mix the Base
In a bowl, combine cottage cheese with most of the sour cream and a pinch of salt.
4️⃣ Combine
Mix the hot pasta with the cheese mixture.
Fold in half of the crispy bacon.
5️⃣ Bake (Optional but Traditional)
Transfer to a baking dish.
Top with remaining sour cream and sprinkle the rest of the bacon on top.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 15–20 minutes until lightly golden.
