📝 Ingredients

  • 300 g (30 dkg) fodros kocka pasta (small square pasta)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 250 g (25 dkg) cottage cheese (Hungarian túró)
  • 300 ml (3 dl) sour cream
  • 200 g (20 dkg) sliced bacon

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the oil, then cook the pasta until al dente.
Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the Bacon

Dice the bacon and fry in a pan until crispy.
Set aside, keeping a little of the rendered fat for flavor.

3️⃣ Mix the Base

In a bowl, combine cottage cheese with most of the sour cream and a pinch of salt.

4️⃣ Combine

Mix the hot pasta with the cheese mixture.
Fold in half of the crispy bacon.

5️⃣ Bake (Optional but Traditional)

Transfer to a baking dish.
Top with remaining sour cream and sprinkle the rest of the bacon on top.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 15–20 minutes until lightly golden.
