🛒 Ingredients (Makes about 24 Kiffles)
For the Dough:
✔ 250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour 🌾
✔ ½ tsp salt 🧂
✔ 200g (7 oz) butter, cold and cubed 🧈
✔ 100g (½ cup) sour cream 🥛
✔ 1 egg yolk 🥚
✔ 1 tsp vanilla extract 🌿
For the Filling (Choose One or Mix & Match!):
✔ Apricot or raspberry jam 🍑🍓
✔ Ground walnuts + sugar + milk 🌰
✔ Poppy seed filling 🌱
✔ Sweetened cream cheese 🧀
For Topping:
✔ 1 egg white (for brushing) 🥚
✔ Powdered sugar (for dusting) ❄
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Dough
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in sour cream, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix until dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic and chill for at least 1 hour.
