🍽️ Old-Fashioned Glazed Meatloaf

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Make the meatloaf:
In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let it soak for 2–3 minutes.
Add in ground beef, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, ketchup, salt, pepper, and thyme.
Mix until just combined — don’t overmix or it can get tough!
  3. Shape it:
Form into a loaf shape on your baking sheet (about 9×5 inches).
  4. Add the glaze:
Mix the glaze ingredients together in a bowl and spoon half of it over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake:
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, then spread remaining glaze on top.
Bake another 15 minutes (total 1 hour), or until internal temp hits 160°F (71°C).
  6. Rest & Slice:
Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing for clean cuts and juicy texture.

🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • Creamy mashed potatoes
  • Roasted green beans or carrots
  • A side of classic mac & cheese if you’re feeling indulgent
