🍫 Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe


🍰 Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven:

  • To 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans (or one 9×13″).

2. Make the batter:

  • In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  • Slowly stir in hot water (or coffee) — the batter will be thin. That’s perfect!

3. Bake:

  • Pour batter into prepared pans.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool completely before frosting.

🍫 Chocolate Frosting:

  1. In a bowl, beat butter until creamy.
  2. Add cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and half the cream. Beat well.
  3. Add more cream as needed to reach desired fluffiness.

✨ Assemble:

  • Layer your cakes with frosting in between.
  • Cover the top and sides.
  • Decorate with shaved chocolate, sprinkles, or fruit if you like!
