
🍰 Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven:
- To 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans (or one 9×13″).
2. Make the batter:
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Slowly stir in hot water (or coffee) — the batter will be thin. That’s perfect!
3. Bake:
- Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
🍫 Chocolate Frosting:
- In a bowl, beat butter until creamy.
- Add cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and half the cream. Beat well.
- Add more cream as needed to reach desired fluffiness.
✨ Assemble:
- Layer your cakes with frosting in between.
- Cover the top and sides.
- Decorate with shaved chocolate, sprinkles, or fruit if you like!
