🍞 Hungarian Flatbread – Simple & Quick

Soft, versatile, and easy to make — this basic yeast dough is perfect for flatbreads, savory rolls, or as a base for pizzas. Quick to prepare and delicious every time! 😋


Ingredients:

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 300 ml hot water
  • 25 g fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Oil for kneading/cooking

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prepare Yeast:

  • Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until bubbly.

2️⃣ Make Dough:

  • In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
  • Gradually add yeast mixture and a splash of oil.
  • Knead until smooth and elastic.

3️⃣ Rest:

  • Cover the dough and let it rise for 30–45 minutes, until doubled in size.
