- Cook pasta:
Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook chicken:
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan. - Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Make garlic butter sauce:
In the same pan, add remaining butter. - Add garlic and sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Prepare Alfredo sauce:
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. - Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add Italian seasoning if using.
- Combine:
Return chicken to the pan. - Add cooked linguine and toss until fully coated in sauce.
