🔥 Instructions:
1. Cook the Beef Filling
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add taco seasoning and water, stir well.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat.
2. Assemble the Cupcakes
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spray a standard muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Place one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, pressing it down gently to form a shell.
- Add 1 tablespoon of taco beef into each cup.
- Sprinkle a bit of shredded cheese on top.
- Optional: Add another wonton wrapper on top for a “double layer” and repeat meat + cheese.
3. Bake
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges of the wontons are crispy and golden brown and the cheese is melted.
4. Top and Serve
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Add your favorite taco toppings: sour cream, lettuce, tomato, olives, jalapeños, etc.
- Serve warm!
🎉 Tips:
- For extra crunch, brush wonton wrappers lightly with oil before baking.
- Use ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter or vegetarian version.
- Great for parties, potlucks, or kid-friendly dinners!
