1. Cook the meat
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned.
- Add taco seasoning, tomatoes/sauce, corn, and cook for 5 minutes.
2. Make the cheese cream
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese + heavy cream + 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble
In a greased baking dish:
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce.
- Add a layer of tortillas.
- Spread some of the cheese cream.
- Repeat layers until everything is used.
- Finish with plenty of cheese on top.
4. Bake
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
💡 Tips
- Want it EXTRA creamy? Add 2 tbsp extra cream cheese into the meat sauce.
- You can add black beans, bell peppers, or jalapeños.
