
Instructions
1. Prepare the dough
Warm the milk slightly and dissolve the yeast in it. In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Add butter and rub it in until crumbly. Add the egg and yeast milk, then knead into a smooth dough.
2. Divide the dough
Divide the dough into three equal parts and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
3. Prepare the filling
Mix the ground walnuts with the granulated sugar.
4. Assemble the layers
Roll out the first dough portion and place it in a greased baking pan.
Spread half of the apricot jam on top and sprinkle with half of the walnut mixture.
Add the second dough layer and repeat with the remaining jam and walnuts.
Cover with the final dough layer.
5. Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 35–40 minutes until golden.
6. Add the chocolate glaze
Melt the chocolate with butter and spread it evenly over the cooled cake.
7. Slice and serve
Let the glaze set, then cut into small squares or rectangles.
