Instructions

1. Prepare the dough
In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the eggs and water, then stir until you get a soft, sticky dough.

2. Boil water
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

3. Form the noodles
Using a spoon, a knife, or a special nokedli (spaetzle) maker, push small pieces of dough into the boiling water.

4. Cook the noodles
Cook for 2–3 minutes. When the noodles float to the surface, they are ready.

5. Drain and finish
Remove with a slotted spoon and toss with a little butter to prevent sticking.
