- Melt chocolate:
Melt chocolate with butter over low heat or in a double boiler. Let cool slightly.
- Prepare batter:
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. - Slowly mix in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Add dry ingredients:
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold into the batter.
- Bake:
Pour into a greased cake pan.
🔥 Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes, until set but still moist.
- Make glaze:
Heat cream until warm (not boiling), then pour over chopped chocolate. - Stir until smooth and add butter.
- Finish:
Pour glaze over cooled cake and spread evenly.
