- In a bowl, mix flour, ground walnuts, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Add cold butter and rub it into the mixture until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a ball, wrap it, and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Take small portions of dough and shape into small crescents.
- Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until lightly golden (do not overbake).
- While still warm, roll the cookies in powdered sugar.
