👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Activate yeast:
    Mix yeast with lukewarm milk and a little sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  1. Make the dough:
    In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add egg, vanilla, melted butter, and yeast mixture.
  3. Knead into a soft, smooth dough.

  1. Let rise:
    Cover and let rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.

  1. Shape:
    Roll dough into long thin strips.
  2. Wrap around a greased rolling pin or cylindrical mold, slightly overlapping.

  1. Coat:
    Brush with melted butter and roll in sugar (or cinnamon sugar).

🔥 Bake:

  • Bake at 180–200°C (350–400°F) for 15–20 minutes
  • Rotate during baking for even caramelization

  1. Remove from mold while warm.
