Instructions

1. Prep the seafood

  • Season lobster and scallops with salt & pepper.
  • Pat scallops very dry so they sear properly.

2. Sear the scallops

  1. Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a hot pan.
  2. Add scallops and cook 1½–2 minutes per side until golden.
  3. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the lobster

  1. In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter.
  2. Add lobster pieces or tails (cut in half).
  3. Cook 3–5 minutes, spooning butter over the top until opaque and tender.
  4. Remove and keep warm.

4. Make the garlic butter sauce

  1. Add remaining butter to the pan.
  2. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  3. Add white wine/broth and simmer 1 minute.
  4. Add lemon juice, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in parsley.

5. Bring it all together

  • Return lobster + scallops to the pan.
  • Spoon hot garlic butter sauce all over.
  • Serve immediately.
