
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk with a teaspoon of sugar; let it foam (5–10 min).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, eggs, salt, and yeast mixture.
- Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Divide dough into 3 equal parts, wrap, and let rest 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Walnut Filling
- In a pan, combine milk, sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon.
- Heat slightly until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
3. Assemble the Layers
- Roll out first portion of dough to fit the pan. Place in a greased or lined baking tray.

- Roll out second dough portion and place on top.
- Spread apricot jam evenly.
- Roll out third dough portion and place on top.
4. Bake
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Let it cool completely in the pan.
5. Chocolate Glaze
- Melt chocolate and butter together.
- Pour over the cooled cake and spread evenly.
- Let the glaze set before cutting into squares.
