It’s made with thin yeast-dough layers filled with apricot jam and ground walnuts, then baked and topped with a rich chocolate glaze. 🧾 Ingredients (for 1 tray, about 20 slices)

For the dough:

  • 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (120 g) butter or margarine (softened)
  • ⅓ cup (70 g) sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ cup (120 ml) warm milk
  • 1 packet (7 g) active dry yeast
  • Pinch of salt

For the filling:

  • 1 ½ cups (150 g) ground walnuts
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 1 ½ cups (350 g) apricot jam (smooth, not too runny)

For the glaze:

  • 3 ½ oz (100 g) dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil
