
Instructions
- Mix yeast with warm milk and a little sugar, let rest 10 minutes.
- Combine flour, butter, sugar, salt, egg yolks, and yeast mixture to form dough.
- Divide dough into 3–4 parts.
- Roll first layer into a baking pan.
- Spread apricot jam and sprinkle walnuts mixed with sugar.
- Add next dough layer and repeat filling.
- Finish with a top dough layer.
- Let rest 30 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes until golden.
- Melt chocolate with butter/oil and spread over cooled cake.
- Let set, then cut into small squares.
