Zesty Lemon Butter Fish Fillet

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Season the Fish

Pat fish dry.
Season both sides with:
✔ salt
✔ pepper
✔ paprika (optional)


2. Sear

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the fillets and cook 2–3 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  3. Remove the fish and set aside.

3. Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

In the same pan, add:

  • Butter
  • Garlic

Sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t brown it!).

Add:
✔ lemon juice
✔ lemon zest
Stir and let it simmer for 1 minute.


4. Combine

Place the fish back in the pan.
Spoon the lemon butter sauce over the fillets.

Cook another 1–2 minutes so the flavors blend.
