
Instructions:
- Cook the bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels. - Fry the eggs
In the same pan, crack in the eggs.
Cook sunny-side-up or over-easy — however you like them!
Season lightly with salt and pepper. - Toast the bread
Butter both sides of your bread slices and toast them in the skillet until golden brown. - Assemble the sandwich
Layer one slice of bread with cheese, crispy bacon, and eggs.
Add hot sauce or mayo if desired.
Top with the other slice of bread. - Melt it all together (optional)
For that diner-style melt, press the sandwich in the skillet for 1–2 minutes on each side until the cheese is perfectly gooey.
