🔹 Ingredients:
- 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
- 2¼ tsp (1 packet) instant yeast
- ¼ cup (50g) sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (240ml) warm milk
- ¼ cup (60g) melted butter or oil
- 1 egg
🔹 Instructions:
Step 1: Activate
- Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast.
- Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Step 2: Make the Dough
- Add egg, melted butter, salt, and flour.
- Knead 8–10 minutes until soft and elastic.
- Dough should be slightly sticky but smooth.
Step 3: First Rise
- Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
Step 4: Shape
- Punch down dough.
- Shape into a loaf or divide into 3–4 balls for extra fluffiness.
- Place in greased loaf pan.
Step 5: Second Rise
- Let rise again 30–45 minutes.
Step 6: Bake
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes.
- Brush with butter after baking for a soft crust.
💡 Tips for Extra Softness:
- Don’t overbake.
- Cover with a towel while cooling.
- Use warm (not hot) milk.
