
3. Assemble the Strudel:
- Roll out the dough as thin as possible on a floured cloth or stretch it carefully using the backs of your hands. If using phyllo dough, layer 3-4 sheets, brushing each with melted butter.
- Spread the filling along one edge of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Gently roll up the strudel using the cloth, tucking in the edges.
- Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet, seam-side down.
4. Bake the Strudel:
- Brush the top with melted butter and a little sour cream.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
