🔥 Instructions:

1. Prep the cabbage

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil
  • Core cabbage and place whole head into boiling water

  • salt, pepper, paprika, thyme

3. Roll

  • Trim thick stem from leaf for easier rolling

  • Fold sides over and roll tightly

Place seam-side down.

4. Make sauce

In a bowl, combine:

  • tomato sauce
  • sugar
  • vinegar
  • Worcestershire
  • salt & pepper

Adjust sweetness and acidity to taste.

5. Cook

  • Place rolls tightly in a large pot
  • Pour sauce over
  • Cover and simmer 60–90 mins on low

Option 2: Oven

  • Place in baking dish, cover tightly with foil
  • Bake 350°F / 175°C for 1½ hours
