Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs Recipe

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Ribs:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if needed. Pat dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Bake Low & Slow:
Wrap ribs in foil (shiny side in) and place on a baking tray. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
  3. Make the Sauce:
While ribs bake, combine honey, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch and water, stir into sauce, and simmer until thickened (about 2 more minutes). Set aside.
  4. Glaze & Broil:
Remove ribs from the oven and discard foil. Brush the ribs generously with honey garlic sauce. Broil on high for 3–5 minutes, watching carefully until sticky and caramelized.
  5. Slice & Serve:
Cut ribs between the bones, drizzle with extra sauce, and serve with rice, coleslaw, or roasted veggies.

🍽️ Tips:

  • Want smokier flavor? Add a bit of liquid smoke or grill the ribs for a few minutes after broiling.
  • Make-ahead: You can bake the ribs a day before, refrigerate, and just broil/glaze before serving.
  • Optional garnish: Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for a pretty finish.
