🍴 Ingredients

For the Fish:

  • 4 catfish fillets (fresh or thawed, about 6–8 oz each)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional, but adds that Southern kick!)
  • 1 ½ cups cornmeal (yellow or white, your choice)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
