1. Mix the dough (no kneading!)
In a large bowl, whisk together:
- flour
- sugar
- salt
- yeast
Add:
- warm milk
- warm water
- melted butter
- egg
Stir with a spoon until everything is combined into a slightly sticky dough.
Do not knead. Just cover it.
2. First rise
Cover the bowl and let it rise 1 hour or until doubled.
3. Shape the rolls
- Dust your hands with flour (dough will be soft).
- Divide dough into 12–15 pieces.
- Roll each into a ball and place in a greased baking dish or pan.
4. Second rise
Let rolls rise again for 25–30 minutes until puffy.
5. Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, until lightly golden.
6. Make them irresistible
Brush HOT rolls with melted butter.
They become shiny, soft, and pillowy!

- Warm milk = helps softness
- Don’t add extra flour — sticky dough = tender rolls
- Bake close together so they lift each other up
- Brush with butter again after 5 minutes for extra softness
