1. Activate the Yeast
- In a bowl, mix warm milk + sugar + yeast.

2. Make the Dough
- Add egg, butter, flour, and salt.
- Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

3. First Rise
- Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled.
4. Shape the Bread
- Punch down the dough.
- Roll it into a tight log and place it in a greased loaf pan.

- Brush the top with a little milk or egg wash.
- Bake at 350°F / 180°C for 25–30 minutes until golden.
