
Instructions:
- Boil potatoes until soft, mash, and let cool.
- Mix mashed potatoes with egg, butter, salt, and flour to form a soft dough.
- Roll dough on a floured surface into long ropes.
- Cut into small pieces and roll into finger-shaped dumplings.
- Bring salted water to a boil and cook until dumplings float (about 3–4 minutes).
- In a pan, melt butter, add breadcrumbs, and toast until golden; mix in sugar.
- Toss cooked dumplings in the breadcrumb mixture.
Serve warm with extra sugar or jam if desired.
