
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and boiled
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 200 g smoked sausage or cooked ham, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- 100 g grated cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Slice boiled potatoes into 1 cm thick rounds.
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer potatoes, eggs, and sausage, seasoning lightly with salt, pepper, and paprika between layers.
- Spread sour cream over each layer.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with potatoes on top.
- Optional: sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until heated through and golden on top.
- Serve warm.
