
Instructions
1. Make the Cake
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In a saucepan, bring water, butter, peanut butter, and oil to a boil. Stir until smooth.
- Pour hot mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla; beat until smooth.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
2. Make the Frosting
- In a saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter together. Stir in milk and vanilla.
- Gradually whisk in powdered sugar until creamy and spreadable.
- Spread frosting over warm cake for a glossy finish.
