
A simple and comforting Hungarian sweet dish—soft pasta tossed with sweetened semolina and apricot jam. Quick, cozy, and nostalgic.
Ingredients
- 250 g wide egg noodles or pasta
- 4 tbsp semolina
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3–4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ cup apricot jam
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until tender; drain.
- In a pan, melt butter and lightly toast semolina until golden.
- Stir in sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Mix the cooked pasta with the semolina mixture.
- Add apricot jam on top and toss gently to combine.
- Serve warm, optionally with extra butter or a dusting of powdered sugar.
