
🥛🍞 MILK BRIOCHE ROLLS
Ingredients
- 3½ cups (440 g) all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup (50 g) sugar
- 2¼ tsp (7 g) active dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- ¼ cup (60 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp salt
Egg Wash
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let stand 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add eggs, butter, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until soft and elastic (8–10 minutes).
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1½ hours until doubled.
- Divide dough into 12–15 pieces. Shape into smooth rolls and place on a lined baking tray.
- Cover and let rise again 30–40 minutes.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.

- Brush with melted butter after baking for extra softness
