Instructions
1. Mix Ingredients
- In a large bowl, combine leftover stuffing, turkey, eggs, cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- If the mixture feels too wet, add breadcrumbs gradually until it can hold its shape.
2. Form Balls
- Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1–2 inch balls and set aside on a plate.
3. Cook the Balls
Option 1: Frying (Crispy Exterior)
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the balls for 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.
- Drain on paper towels.
Option 2: Baking (Healthier)
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray or brush with a little oil.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and heated through.
4. Serve
- Serve warm with cranberry sauce, gravy, or a dipping sauce of your choice.
Tips:
- You can add leftover veggies (carrots, peas, or corn) for extra flavor and moisture.
- If the mixture isn’t holding together, refrigerate for 15–20 minutes before forming balls.
- These also freeze well—freeze unbaked balls on a tray, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes.
If you like, I can also give a 5-minute air fryer version that makes them extra crispy and faster than baking or frying.
Do you want me to share that air fryer version?
