Ingredients
- 4–5 green bell peppers, sliced
- 300 g smoked Hungarian sausage (kolbász), sliced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté onion until soft. Add sausage and cook briefly.
- Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
- Layer half of the peppers in the dish, add half of the rice, then half of the sausage mixture.
- Repeat layers and finish with sour cream on top.
- Cover and bake for 30–35 minutes until peppers are tender.
- Uncover and bake 5 more minutes. Serve warm.
