Jam Cookies

Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g butter (soft)
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • jam (apricot or strawberry)
  • powdered sugar for topping
  • melted chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
  2. Add egg and vanilla sugar, mix well.
  3. Add flour and knead into a soft dough.
  4. Wrap and chill 30 minutes.
  5. Roll dough and cut cookie shapes (make a hole in the center of half).
  6. Bake at 180°C for 10–12 minutes.
  7. Spread jam on one cookie and cover with the one with the hole.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle chocolate if you like.
