Italian Stromboli

Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the Dough
    • Roll pizza dough into a rectangle (about 12×16 inches).
  3. Layer the Fillings
    • Place provolone cheese slices evenly over the dough, leaving 1 inch border.
    • Add layers of ham, salami/pepperoni, then sprinkle Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
    • (Optional) Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce before layering, or keep sauce on the side for dipping.
  4. Roll It Up
    • Starting from the long side, carefully roll the dough into a log.
    • Pinch the seam and tuck in the ends. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Finish & Bake
    • Brush with olive oil and egg wash.
    • Sprinkle with garlic powder and extra Parmesan if desired.
    • Cut small slits on top for steam to escape.
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Rest & Serve
    • Let Stromboli rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
    • Serve with warm marinara or pizza sauce for dipping. 🍅🧀
