Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or Italian sausage)
- 1 cup pasta sauce (your favorite marinara or tomato basil)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tube (8 oz / 225 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup ricotta or cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for brushing, optional)
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
