1. Preheat
Heat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Mix the sausage base
In a large bowl, combine:
- Sausage
- Cream cheese
- Rotel (well drained!)
Mix with your hands or a sturdy spoon.
3. Add the dry ingredients
Add:
- Bisquick
- Cheddar cheese
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Pepper
Mix until you get a thick, uniform dough.
4. Shape
Roll into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls.
(Use lightly wet hands to avoid sticking.)
5. Bake
Bake 18–22 minutes,
until golden, slightly crispy on the outside, and cooked through.
✨ Tips for PERFECT sausage balls
- Drain Rotel VERY well so the mixture isn’t too wet.
- Use cold sausage — it helps the balls hold shape.
- Add a little extra Bisquick if mixture is too soft.
- Dip in ranch, spicy mayo, or queso for extra magic.
