Irresistible Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

1. Preheat

Heat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. Mix the sausage base

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Sausage
  • Cream cheese
  • Rotel (well drained!)
    Mix with your hands or a sturdy spoon.

3. Add the dry ingredients

Add:

  • Bisquick
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Pepper

Mix until you get a thick, uniform dough.

4. Shape

Roll into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls.
(Use lightly wet hands to avoid sticking.)

5. Bake

Bake 18–22 minutes,
until golden, slightly crispy on the outside, and cooked through.


Tips for PERFECT sausage balls

  • Drain Rotel VERY well so the mixture isn’t too wet.
  • Use cold sausage — it helps the balls hold shape.
  • Add a little extra Bisquick if mixture is too soft.
