
Instructions
- Beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl beat egg yolks with sugar and vanilla until creamy.
- Add ground walnuts, flour, and baking powder to the yolk mixture.
- Gently fold in the egg whites.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes.
- For the cream, beat butter with powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Add ground walnuts and milk, mix until smooth.
- Spread cream over the cooled cake and decorate as desired.
