Ingredients

Dough

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 250 g butter (soft)
  • 200 ml milk (warm)
  • 10 g dry yeast
  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • pinch of salt

Filling

  • 300 g ground walnuts
  • 150 g sugar
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • lemon zest (optional)

Top

  • 1 egg (for brushing)
  • powdered sugar (optional)
