
Ingredients
For the dough:
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 200 g butter, cold and cubed
- 80 g powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons sour cream or milk
- Pinch of salt
For the filling:
- 200 g ground walnuts
- 80 g sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For coating:
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, salt, and butter until crumbly.
- Add egg yolks and sour cream, knead into a soft dough.
- Wrap dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Mix ground walnuts, sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the filling.
- Roll dough thin and cut into small triangles.
- Place a small amount of walnut filling on each piece.
- Roll into crescent shapes.
- Bake at 180°C / 350°F for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly, then coat generously with powdered sugar.
- Allow to cool completely before serving
