Hungarian Tiramisu Balls (Tiramisu Golyók)

Ingredients

  • 200 g ladyfinger biscuits (or plain biscuits)
  • 100 g mascarpone
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp strong coffee (cooled)
  • 2 tbsp butter (soft)
  • cocoa powder for coating

Instructions

  1. Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix mascarpone, butter, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
  3. Add biscuit crumbs and coffee, mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  5. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Roll the balls in cocoa powder before serving.
