📝 Ingredients (Serves 8)

For the Pastry Crust:

  • 1¾ cups (220 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (55 g) powdered sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup (170 g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1–2 tbsp cold water (as needed)

For the Apple Filling:

  • 4–5 medium tart apples (Granny Smith or Jonagold), peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Zest of ½ lemon (optional)

For the Streusel Topping:

  • ½ cup (65 g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
  • 1⁄3 cup (40 g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
