
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (225 g) cold butter, cubed
- 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
Filling Options:
- Thick apricot or raspberry jam
- Sweetened cream cheese (4 oz cream cheese + 2 tbsp sugar + 1/2 tsp vanilla)
For Finishing:
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Add cream cheese and sugar. Mix until dough forms.
- Wrap dough and chill at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll dough to about 1/8-inch thick. Cut into small squares or triangles.
- Place a small spoon of filling in the center. Roll into crescents.
- Bake 15–18 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool completely and dust generously with powdered sugar.
Soft, buttery, and perfect with coffee or tea.
