Hungarian potato paprika – paprikás krumpli

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and sauté onion until soft.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in paprika (don’t burn it).
  3. Add potatoes, garlic, tomato/tomato paste, bell pepper, salt, pepper, caraway.
  4. Pour enough water/broth to cover.
  5. Simmer 30–35 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  6. If using sausage, add in last 10–15 minutes.
  7. Adjust seasoning and serve.
