Hungarian pancakes – Palacsinta🇭🇺.

Instructions:

  1. Make the batter
    • In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, eggs, and half of the milk until smooth.
    • Add remaining milk, sparkling water, melted butter, and mix until you have a thin, lump-free batter.
    • Let rest for 20–30 minutes (this makes softer palacsinta).
  2. Cook the pancakes
    • Heat a lightly oiled nonstick skillet or crêpe pan.
    • Pour a small ladle of batter, swirling the pan to coat evenly.
    • Cook 1–2 minutes until lightly golden, then flip and cook the other side.
    • Stack on a plate and cover with a towel to keep soft.
  3. Fill & roll
    • Spread your favorite filling, then roll or fold into triangles.
