- Cream butter & sugar
Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. - Add yolks & vanilla
Mix in egg yolks and vanilla. - Mix dry ingredients
In another bowl, combine ground walnuts, flour, baking powder, and salt. - Make the dough
Gradually add dry mixture to butter mixture until a soft dough forms.
Chill 30 minutes. - Shape
Roll dough into small balls (about 1 tbsp each). - Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12–15 minutes.
Cookies should stay pale, not browned. - Roll in sugar
While still warm, roll gently in powdered sugar.
