Hungarian Noodle Dumplings (Nokedli)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup water or milk
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Beat in eggs and water to make a sticky, soft dough.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  4. Press dough through a spaetzle maker or cut small pieces into the water.
  5. Cook until dumplings float (2–3 minutes).
  6. Remove with slotted spoon and serve immediately.
